Why we built this

We deleted social media but still wanted to stay informed about what's happening locally. Social media feeds are mostly filled with brain-rotting junk designed to give you small dopamine hits over and over again. News feeds are blasted with political agendas and ads. We wanted off that treadmill but didn't want to be disconnected from our community.

We wanted something simple. One place to quickly check the local news, see what events are coming up, glance at the weather, and move on with our day. No algorithms deciding what we should see. No ads. No engagement tricks. Just useful local information.

So we built it ourselves. My City Dashboard is designed to help you stay connected to your community without wasting your time. Check in, get what you need, and get back to living in the real world.
